Technology

MSX works with a range of wireless devices recording air temperature, relative humidity, mpack temperature or external probe temperature. The devices can operate in -30°C to +65°C conditions with the external mpack or probe sensors measuring as much as -150°C to +150°C. The devices communicate with a base station “collector” using long range LoRa technology, and that collector sends the data to the MSX platform via standard 2.4GHz WiFi.

Hardware

A standard supermarket installation would include one collector in a central location with up to 30 devices connecting. When installing inside cool or freezer rooms with thick panel walls or refrigerated shipping containers, a collector close to the location is often required to make sure a consistent signal can be maintained.

Software

The MSX platform is secure and easy to use. It works on all screen sizes so it’s easy to check from the office or on the go from your phone or tablet and it’s hosted on enterprise grade servers.

All devices can be seen at a glance on the dashboard and you can drill down to access settings and data at device level. View your data as you want it, graphs and raw numeric data are all available and can be exported with the click of a button.
